Thank You

i am thankful.
for so many things really.
right now, i'm thankful for my home, kenzie's crib,
and the fact that she fell asleep in the car and didn't wake up at all.
and i am thankful for the many wonderful blessings the Lord has seen fit
to bestow upon me and my family.
truly we are blessed.
i am thankful for my husband.
a worthy priesthood leader in our home.
a wonderful, loving, and kind example for my babies to know and follow.
i am thankful for a wonderful family.
absolutely amazing in-laws!
i am thankful for my Savior.
thankful for this gospel.
for my church family, for callings, for fellowshipping.
i am thankful for a happy baby.
she loves me and shane so much and lets us know all the time with her
kisses and hugs and smiles.
she is our world.
i am thankful for her health and safety.
thankful to be sealed to the two most important people in my life!
thankful that little layne will be born under the covenant.
i will have him forever as well.
i could go on and on but i want to tell you about a special family.
i just finished reading a blog about a woman that almost lost
her son in a drowning.
he was pronounced D.O.A. when he arrived at the E.R.
they worked on him for 40mins til they got his heart started.
then they flew him down to primary children's hospital where he spent
2 whole weeks, half of which was pretty touch and go, until he finally was able
to return home to his family.
i cried, i laughed, i cringed, i thought how wonderful are the blessing of our loving
Father in Heaven.
i love this family for the strength they are able to share with the world through
their miracle.
i will never forget about their story!
i truly think it has changed me.
i want to be better.
never let a day go by that i don't love on kenzie as much as i can!!
she wrote in her blog about 'leftovers'.
about how sometimes she finds herself giving her leftovers to her children.
getting so caught up in life and committees and responsibilities that by the time she gets home,
she is so stretched out that all she has is whatever is 'leftover' from
the day to give to her family.
i'm not that busy but i find myself giving leftovers as well.
but this life is too short to be doing that.
here is a link to her blog so you can read it if you like.
i encourage you to.
i fell in love with little bronson and the wonderful feelings i got while reading.
about him.
his miracle.
his fighting spirit.
what a little champ!
