update

shane and i don't have working computers right now. so i'm not posting anything b/c i can't. we've got his computer hooked up to our tv and so it's a temporary fix. we'll be getting a new computer in a week or two so until then i will not be posting anything new. but when i do i'll have lots of new pictures!!

makenzie is 8 months now and getting so big! she almost weighs 21lbs!!! not sure how tall she is but i'm sure it's more than 30 inches. she is crawling all over the place and she stood up the other night with no help!! she hasn't tried taking steps yet and i hope she doesn't try for a WHILE!! i can stand chasing her when she's crawling but i don't know how i feel about a walking makenzie yet...yeah.

we got a puppy a couple weeks ago. his name is brutus. like marcus brutus...julius caeser's best friend. shane has a thing for roman history....that's my husband! haha! he's a pitt bull. he's adorable. and he's in love with kenzie! they are almost inseperable! when he's inside they are always right next to each other. what one plays with, the other one HAS to have!! it's cute watching them fight over toys! brutus normally wins b/c he can get away the fastest! a lot of people have said how worried they are that we have a pitt bull. but he's really sweet and very tolerable towards kenzie. she's pretty rough with him b/c she doesn't know any better but he's super gentle with her! it's cute when we put her to bed b/c he runs to her door and freaks out b/c he hears her crying! it's cute AFTER the fact. b/c when we're trying to get her to sleep and he runs in there whining til her can see her, it just makes getting her to sleep that much harder!

AH! ok, we have people her right now replacing our furnace and they are making SO MUCH NOISE!!! she was taking a nap when they got here and that lasted about 20 mins, (she normally sleeps for 1-1 1/2 hours) and then she needed a nap a while later and sleep for maybe 15 mins... yeah. so, i'm kinda hoping they aren't here for too much longer. or at least they STOP making SO MUCH NOISE!! but i am thankful we're getting a new furnace! it'll be nice not having to run the electric wall heaters for 150-200 dollars a month!

well, that's my update for now. i will have more when i have a new computer that i can put some pictures on!
